Day 01
Arusha to Tarangire
The journey begins with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, which typically takes around 2 hours, covering a distance of 109 kilometers. Upon arrival, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive through the park, where you can experience stunning wildlife encounters. Tarangire is famous for its large herds of elephants, towering baobab trees, and a diverse range of species including antelopes, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, and more. The park’s unique landscape and rich biodiversity make for an unforgettable first day of your safari adventure.
Day 02
Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti
After a scenic 3-4 hour drive from Mto wa Mbu, you’ll arrive in the breathtaking Serengeti National Park. Once entry procedures are complete, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out for an exciting afternoon game drive. The Serengeti’s expansive plains are home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and cheetahs. If you’re visiting during peak season, you may be lucky enough to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration as these magnificent creatures traverse the plains in search of food. As the day comes to a close, you’ll be treated to a stunning sunset over the vast savannah, creating a magical and unforgettable experience.
Day 03
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Your day begins early at 5:45 am with a light breakfast, followed by a serene sunrise inside the Serengeti. Afterward, you’ll set off on an exciting morning game drive, exploring the park’s stunning landscapes until 11:30 am. Once you’ve had your fill of wildlife encounters, you’ll head back to camp for a hot lunch and some well-earned rest. After lunch, you’ll pack your things into the jeep, preparing for the next exciting chapter of your tour.
Day 04
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
You’ll begin your day early around 5:30 am with a quick breakfast, then head down to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, where you’ll have the chance to spot the Big Five in their natural habitat. The crater is also home to a variety of bird species and the elusive black rhino. Enjoy a scenic lunch within the crater, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the sight of flamingos in the high-concentration lakes. After a thrilling 6 to 7-hour game drive, you’ll start your ascent back from the crater. On your way out, you’ll stop at the campsite to pack your belongings into the jeep before heading back to Arusha for an overnight stay or transferring to Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport.
