Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival, we will arrange a transfer from the airport to your hotel at an additional cost. If you wish to rest before the safari begins, we can also arrange pre-tour accommodation for you. This will give you time to relax and prepare for your adventure ahead.

Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport, a Mountain Warriors representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your luxury accommodation in Arusha. Settle into the elegant Mount Meru Hotel, renowned for its serene ambiance and stunning surroundings. Take this time to relax and unwind as you prepare for the incredible adventures ahead. Enjoy the comfort of your stay, rejuvenate, and get ready for an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, we’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, named after the Tarangire River, which serves as a vital water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park’s diverse landscape features dense vegetation, including elephant grass and acacia woodlands, providing a rich habitat for a variety of animals. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the river, from playful calves to towering bulls. You’ll also encounter giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, along with the predators that follow them, such as lions and leopards. For bird enthusiasts, Tarangire is a paradise, boasting more breeding bird species than any other park in the world. After an exciting game drive and a delicious lunch, we’ll head to Maramboi Tented Lodge, where you can unwind and enjoy the stunning surroundings. A delightful dinner will be served, followed by an overnight stay at this beautiful lodge. 

Days 3-4

Mto wa Mbuu to Serengeti

After an early breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, enjoying exciting game viewing along the way. Serengeti is world-renowned as one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries, celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes and remarkable biodiversity. It is home to Africa’s highest concentration of plains game, making it a true paradise for wildlife enthusiasts.

The Serengeti is most famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, a spectacular annual event where over a million wildebeest, accompanied by around 200,000 zebras, traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. Their journey follows the rains, moving southward from the northern hills and later heading west and north in April, May, and June, driven by an instinct so powerful that no drought, river, or predator can halt their progress.

Throughout your time in the Serengeti, you’ll witness endless plains teeming with wildlife, breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and exhilarating game drives. A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a picturesque picnic site, offering stunning views of the savannah.

As the day winds down, we’ll drive to your luxury accommodation, where you’ll savor a delightful dinner and spend the night surrounded by the magic of the Serengeti wilderness.

Day 5

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, we will leave the Serengeti and journey towards the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” Ngorongoro is one of Africa’s most breathtaking wildlife destinations. This vast, intact volcanic caldera boasts an incredibly high concentration of wildlife, offering some of the best game viewing opportunities in all of Africa.

Despite being a popular safari stop; the abundance of wildlife makes it a must-visit for nature lovers. The Crater is home to an impressive array of animals, including the endangered black rhinoceros, prides of lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and large herds of Cape buffalo. This is one of the few places where you have a strong chance of spotting all of the Big Five in a single day.

During your game drive, you’ll pause for a packed lunch at a scenic picnic site within the Crater, allowing you to soak in the spectacular surroundings. As the afternoon unfolds, we will ascend from the Crater and drive to your luxury lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay amidst the unparalleled beauty of Ngorongoro.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

After an early breakfast, we will depart from Ngorongoro Crater and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic journey of approximately 1.5 hours. This compact yet diverse park is known for its breathtaking landscapes, ranging from lush groundwater forests and acacia woodlands to open savannahs and the vast soda lake that attracts thousands of flamingos.

Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare and fascinating sight, as well as large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes roaming the park. Bird lovers will be in awe of the 400+ bird species, including pelicans, hornbills, and vibrant kingfishers.

During your game drive, we’ll stop for a scenic picnic lunch, allowing you to take in the tranquil beauty of the park. After an afternoon of further exploration, we will head to your luxury lodge, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 7

Arusha to the Airport

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge, we will drive you to Kilimanjaro International Airport, a journey of approximately 2-3 hours. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to explore Arusha or indulge in some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.

Your guide will ensure a smooth and timely transfer to the airport, where you will bid farewell to Tanzania, carrying with your unforgettable memories of your luxury safari adventure. Safe travels and we hope to welcome you back for another incredible experience
